Why Spider-Man is Exclusive to PlayStation

According to Crystal Dynamics, developer for the upcoming Avengers game published by Square Enix, Sony owns the video game rights to Spider-Man. This indicates that Sony used their rights to Spider-Man in order to have exclusive content on the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 versions of Marvel Avengers.
