There’s a reason the PlayStation 2 laid the foundation for Sony’s domination in the console market – effectively killing off Sega as hardware manufacturer and siphoning sales from GameCube – and that’s it’s incredibly diverse library of essential games. Put simply: the amount of quality titles on Sony’s second home console is simply staggering.
Compiling a list of just 15 of the best PS2 games is nigh-on impossible, but it’s fair to say those games that have made the cut are up there as some of the best video games ever made.
