Sony has announced 2 pairs of wireless headphones for the PlayStation 5 and the new PlayStation Portal device.
Both devices use the new wireless technology PlayStation Link, which should provide low latency when transmitting lossless audio. The Pulse Elite and Pulse Explore will be the first PlayStation audio devices to use custom-designed, audiophile-grade planar magnetic drivers commonly used in professional audio engineers' monitors.
It is the combination of low latency and lossless audio that Sony explains the relatively high cost of Pulse Explore - $ 200.
Sony says this is its “first set of wireless earbuds that deliver premium portable audio with dual microphones and AI noise-cancelling technology that can filter out background sounds. Pulse Explore offers lossless audio and comes with a charging case."
