Death Stranding Xbox:
When it comes to Game Pass, there are two different versions of the service that players can subscribe to. There's Xbox Game Pass, which lets players check out a sizable library of games on their Xbox console. And then there's PC Game Pass, which is the same idea as Xbox Game Pass, but for PC. Xbox Game Pass Ultimate bundles both versions of Game Pass together, and it is really the best way for subscribers to get the most bang for their buck.

The vast majority of games that are added to Xbox Game Pass also make their way to PC Game Pass, but there are certainly exceptions. In some cases, there are games that are only available on the regular Xbox Game Pass, and other times there are games that are only available those who are subscribed to PC Game Pass. A new rumor suggests that PC Game Pass may be getting another exclusive, potentially in the form of a PlayStation console exclusive game.

PC Launcher:
This follows the discovery that Sony could be planning to introduce PlayStation Network integration to its PC games.

While neither Marvel’s Spider-Man nor any other PlayStation Studios PC game currently allows connectivity with PSN accounts, Spider-Man’s files contain multiple references to “PSNAccountLinked” and “PSNLinkingEntitlements”.

Thus far, all of Sony’s PC games have been released on Steam and the Epic Game Store. While PlayStation has a PlayStation PC brand, it is generally used as a collective term for all PC rereleases, rather than a launcher.

It’s possible that these references could suggest a bespoke version of the PlayStation Store could come to PC. This, coupled with the references to account integration, could eventually lead to cross-purchasing for titles on PS5 and PC.

It’s unlikely the first party would keep its games exclusive to this launcher. While Microsoft offers its games on its own store, it also releases its games on Steam.

However, some publishers, such as Rockstar, require a reduced version of the launcher client to be active, even when launching a game from Steam, as a means of verification.

Cult of the Lamb:
Millions of gamers subscribe to Xbox Game Pass, with some even relying on it as their primary place to play new releases (per Xbox Wire). The subscription service's library is constantly changing, with new titles being added monthly. However, not every game makes it onto the Xbox Game Pass. For one, although more and more previously console-exclusive titles have made their way onto PC in recent years, PlayStation games end up on Steam, Epic Games launcher, or Sony's competing subscription service, PlayStation Plus. So what about indie titles that belong to neither Sony nor Microsoft?
Well, according to Microsoft, Sony has been indulging in some anti-Game Pass tactics over the years. The company has recently alleged that Sony has paid indie developers to keep their games off of Game Pass, thus keeping Sony at the top of the market. And according to a recent reveal, Sony has continued this practice by blocking a newer indie hit from being included in Xbox's service.

Showcase:
It has been almost a full year since Sony's last PlayStation Showcase, where it now typically debuts some of its biggest first-party projects alongside major announcements from other publishers. Last year's event played host to the reveals of Marvel's Spider-Man 2 and Marvel's Wolverine, as well as a new God of War Ragnarok trailer. Since then, we've seen very little in the way of PlayStation Studios content — the company had an unexpectedly excellent State of Play event to fill the E3 hole, but that was all about third-party developers.
