What is a Role-Playing Game?

More often than not, people don't seem to understand what makes a role-playing game a role-playing game. In this video, I attempt to explain what makes the role-playing game genre different from any other genre out there, and why certain games that a lot of people lump in with the genre aren't actually RPG's.
