Yesterday Activision sent a cease and desist letter to the xLabs team, meaning that the Black Ops 3 client "Boiii" along with clients for a dozen older COD games on PC have been shutdown. This is particularly sad for Black Ops 3 as this was our only hope to be able to play Black Ops 3 on PC safely, without having to worry about hackers, modders, and RCE exploits where your own data could be compromised. Now, that has been taken away from us and we can no longer play Black Ops 3 safely on PC anymore. HOWEVER, the T7 patch for Black Ops 3 PC still exists that allows you to play Black Ops 3 on PC safely on Steam without worrying about hackers booting your game offline. You can still play Zombies and Multiplayer games with your friends and be completely safe from all security issues on the game. The one downside is you cannot play public matches at all with this patch.
