A major leak from the FTC v. Microsoft case has revealed Microsoft's plans for future Xbox iterations, including the mid-generation refresh Xbox Series X and S consoles (such as 'Brooklin' and 'Ellewood'), release dates, pricing, and some specs. The leaks also included plans for a 2028 full next-gen console release from Microsoft. Additionally, filings revealed unredacted emails and presentations pertaining to the purchase of ZeniMax. These leaks provide revenue expectations for in-development games, including The Elder Scrolls VI, Starfield's future DLC, Doom: Year One, and more. Further still, Microsoft's Phil Spencer appears to view Nintendo as a holy grail of acquisitions, alongside Valve as another consideration. The leaks are telling of Microsoft's gaming market plans.
