Overall, the new additions for Season 3 seem to be going down pretty well, with players enjoying the injection of fresh content after the game's second season lasted almost a full calendar year - even with mini-events dotted throughout Season 2. However, the new Season launch hasn't been without issue. Pretty much straight away, users on Xbox Series X|S began reporting performance issues, in particular at 120Hz playback. That seems to extend to the game's campaign as well, where players are also coming across performance problems.”

At the start of this year when Microsoft announced mass layoffs and some changes within the Xbox division, it was also revealed Halo Infinite's Head of Creative Joseph Staten would be rejoining Xbox Game Studios Publishing. It's admittedly been quite hard for some fans to accept, but now it seems his move back to this part of the Xbox team is well and truly complete. As highlighted on Reddit, Joe has now updated his Twitter profile - appearing to reconfirm his departure. His role is now officially "partner and creative director at Xbox Publishing”

“Sony Is Starting To Unravel With Its Wild Xbox Activision Deal Protests. To be clear, what Sony is accusing Microsoft of here is having the potential to actively sabotage the PlayStation version of Call of Duty with bugs and errors. That is probably the most unhinged argument I’ve heard during this entire process, and given where we are, that’s really saying something. Not only would Microsoft be literally insane to try something like that, it’s honestly insane for Sony to suggest it as a genuine possibility. This says to me that Sony is running out of legitimate arguments here if there are turning toward actual conspiracies. And that’s not all. Yesterday, outspoken Activision CCO Lulu Cheng Meservery relayed what she says is a closed-door quote by Sony’s Jim Ryan, which he said during the private meeting in Brussels early this month: “I don’t want to do a new Call of Duty deal. I just want to block your merger.”

“Starfield Delayed, Release Date Officially Set For September. Xbox and Bethesda have officially announced that Starfield will release on September 6, 2023 for PC and Xbox Series X|S. It was previously slated to release during the first half of 2023. In an update video, game director Todd Howard confirmed that more details on the game will be revealed in a Starfield Direct presentation on June 11. "The game has many of the hallmarks that you'd expect from us, but it's also a very unique experience," Howard said.”
