When will Pokemon Game Boy and Game Boy Advance games come to Nintendo Switch Online?
Games like Pokemon Red, Blue, Yellow, Green (in Japan), Gold, Silver, and Crystal all eventually came to the 3DS eShop, although they didn't arrive until five years after the first Game Boy games to be ported to the platform.
Meanwhile, Pokemon Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald, Fire Red, and Leaf Green all remain thoroughly unported, having never been released on any platform besides the GBA. These games continue to be phenomenally popular, and are fairly pricey if you're looking to buy a legitimate cartridge on eBay.
Retro game collecting is pretty rough.
