With the current state of the games industry and the increasing costs of AAA games from Xbox and PlayStation, it seems as though Nintendo made the right call years ago focusing on game library and consistent releases over raw power. With rumors swirling that the Switch 2 may be comparable in power to the Xbox Series S, Nintendo might be in the perfect position to have a system that not only leverages their own strengths, but is positioned perfectly to see increased third party support for bigger, more demanding games that have thus far skipped out on the Switch.
