The long rumoured Nintendo Switch Pro is getting closer and closer to being more than a pipe dream. We know it’s coming. We know its going to be 2021.
There’s what we hope and there’s what we know. We hope it will be 4K, as that letter and number combo has high gamer stature written all over it. We know it will be a more powerful alternative to the Switch and Switch Lite that will play the same games. We want the screen to be larger, larger than the original’s 6.2 inches and much bigger than the Lite’s 5.5 incher. 7 and above is what the ideal future looks like for us . We know the battery life on the current models isn’t all that great at 2.5 to 6.5, depending on the game you play. We’d like one with an 8 hour battery life and above for long trips and late outlet free nights. That way, when the long awaited sequel for Breath of The Wild comes out, we'll be fully equipped to enjoy the game all night on camping trips and have enough left over for a little bit of Mario Kart in the morning.
We were holding our breath for a Switch Pro to come this year, but thanks to the Resident Evil level pandemic, we're going to have to wait until 2021. Tune in to The Gamer for more on Nintendo updates, as we want to be your source of Nintendo Power in the roaring 2020's.
