Xbox discussed their Q3 revenue where they sported a hefty $1 Billion dollars per Satya Nadella and some other achievements but didn't shy away from admitting a 30% decline in Xbox hardware sales. This all is happening as they promise improvements in Q4, especially given the fact that the Activision Blizzard Merger will likely close. The deal will end with our without an FTC deal as rumors are flying that Microsoft will close the Activision Blizzard deal with or without the FTC's approval.
Previously: The FTC was trying to get more information from Nintendo about the Microsoft-Activision Blizzard deal and they lost the subpoena request. The Microsoft Activision Blizzard Merger has been making Xbox offer 10-year deals to companies like Nintendo. While the FTC has been denied that information because they failed to request it until 3 months after the deal was announced publicly. While Jim Ryan has been discussing PlayStation games like a Call of Duty Xbox exclusive future that won't happen, the FTC seems to be busy focusing on Sony and Microsofts documents. It would seem that they missed the Xbox news today about the Nintendo deal and that means they'll have one less piece of evidence that could have helped their case.
