“Exclusive: Xbox will host a new Developer_Direct games show for Redfall, Forza, and more. Xbox fans have been waiting for a while for information on this year's slate of Xbox games, set to include games like Redfall and the hotly-anticipated Starfield. It seems that we won't have to wait much longer, if our information is correct.
From what we understand, the Developer_Direct show is slated for January 25 at 12PM PT on Xbox's official channels on Twitch and YouTube. Although these dates may be subject to change. The show will be hosted by both Xbox and Bethesda, with deep dives into Redfall, Minecraft Legends, Forza Motorsport, and content from ZeniMax Online Studios.”

“Xbox Game Pass Users Upset Over Change to New Games. Xbox Game Pass and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers across PC and console are upset with a sudden new change to the subscription service. The change is fairly minor and there's no indication it's a permanent one, but it's caught the ire of some subscribers who, since the launch of the subscription service, have had little to complain about. What's the problem? Well, Xbox has stopped communicating about new games. There's been a couple of games added so far this year, but they've been stealth drops. Typically, Xbox makes an Xbox Game Pass announcement every two weeks, revealing new games coming to the subscription service that month each time. For the last several weeks, this has stopped. Many are assuming this is because of the holiday season, but while this is a reasonable conclusion it's not a definitive, official conclusion.”

“Oreo’s Xbox-themed cookies unlock Forza, Halo, and Sea of Thieves skins. Microsoft has teamed up with Oreo once again to create Xbox-themed Oreo cookies. There are six custom Xbox cookie designs in total, with one featuring the Xbox logo and additional cookies for each controller button and a directional arrow.
The cookies are based on Oreo’s classic cookie-and-creme combination, but the packs will include special codes to unlock Oreo-themed armor packs or vehicle skins. In Halo Infinite there is Oreo-themed armor, which literally looks like a Spartan that has been dunked in an Oreo-flavored milkshake. Forza Horizon 5 players will get access to a vehicle skin that looks very cookie-like, and Sea of Thieves players get an entire ship skin that’s more black than it is white.”

The already expensive hobby has only gotten more expensive in the last couple of years as more and more companies pass increased costs onto consumers. Thankfully, if you're in the United States, Europe, Japan, China, Brazil, or any other part of the world that isn't India, you don't have to worry about this Xbox Series S price increase. For the second time in six months, the Xbox Series S price has been increased in India, with the previous price increase coming back in August of last year. More specifically, a price increase of Rs. 39,990 has been issued. “
