The first day of the FTC vs Microsoft trial is underway and it certainly did not disappoint. Jim Ryan was caught lying, there were reveals about when the next generation of consoles will arrive, Indiana Jones was revealed to be an Xbox exclusive and that's just the tip of the iceberg. So much happened today that I thought I'd collect it all in one location.
Previously: The trial between the FTC vs Microsoft Activision deal begins tomorrow and will determine the outcome of the deal. Microsoft and Xbox have made it clear that if the preliminary injunction continues through the rest of the year that the deal is basically done. As we've already heard a ton about the case we will find out a lot more tomorrow as Matt Booty is scheduled to testify and we will hear opening arguments. It is sure to be an exciting day.
