This is an odd beast isn't it? It's like Google have no interest in making it a competitive gaming service, they're just chasing the technology. And ultimately chasing data of course.
(Also... They introduce this as "Games without a console" but I still had to spend £119 on a special Chromecast and controller before they'd let me have an account.)
