The announcement that Google Stadia is Shutting Down was not met with a lot of surprise from fans. However, some fanboys have begun referencing a 2021 article that puts the blame on Microsoft, because they purchased Bethesda. The Microsoft Bethesda purchase was referenced in a Kotaku piece when Harrison said that Google would not be investing in the creation of new games because of the merger. Which... doesn't really make a lot of sense. The big news about Google Stadia Shutting down however has a silver lining. All hardware, software, and DLC will be completely refunded.
